A beautiful Day!
I love taking pictures! I love choosing the cream of the crop! and I love all the different ways you can transform them! I'm so grateful to do what I do! Hopefully I will get to do it for many years to come.

Inspired by Spring
I just love this time of year. It makes me realize how gray winter was. I see vibrant colors exploding everywhere and I just want to leap away from my computer add collect a thousand more photographs to my already unmanageable personal collection!Discipline!!!!

Sunrise Yoga
Once in a while we are early enough to enjoy a beautiful beach sunrise. Yesterday was such a day as we drove my mom back to the Airport for the first flight of the day. The boys were still in their PJ's but that didn't slow their enthusiasm, nor mine...

A water fall on the Beach!
Along Cordova Bay Beach we have a 30 foot cliff. It make for a unique beach feel as you are isolated and nature abounds. We have Eagles and Herons. Sea otters come by often and we have to watch our steps lest we get our toes snipped off by large crabs and there is an odd creature that lives in the ground and when you walk close to it you get shot by a 4 foot stream of water (I hope it's water...) I have to watch my camera carefully. If all this isn't enough we also have to tiny waterfalls sculpting a crazy pattern in the rock below. This is what i've captured in the shot i'm posting today. As my husband likes to say, having a camera makes you notice all the details that surround you. (He says it better)! So take a moment today and see the beauty around you no matter where you happen to be...Sophie

Pets in the Studio!
We had Madison, Sookie and Muscade in the studio today This is one of my favs of Sookie. She always looks cool no mater what she's doing. Definitely a vampire hunting sorta cat!
